TheMiamiValley.com is a "Social Network", similar to MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. intended for use by past, current, and future residents and business owners in the Miami Valley region of Ohio.

Well, there are actually a few reasons, and eventually we'll fully update this answer... For now though, probably the biggest and most important reason, is we want to give residents and business owners in the Miami Valley there own LOCAL platform to connect with each other.

Since we're still kind of new, we're not releasing all of the awesome features we have in store for you all, yet... In the meantime though, you can upload pictures, upload videos, post classified ads, post website links, and most important, you can begin to network with other people here in the Miami Valley.

A lot of reasons really, too many to really cover here...lol. The biggest and most important couple of things are;
1. We're LOCAL to the Miami Valley region. No more clutter, no more spam, and no time-wasting games and other useless applications to worry about.
2. We're an "all-in-one" networking platform. That means from all within this site you can sell goods, meet new people, find special and exciting local deals, and much, much more! No more having to be signed up to 10 different sites to get connected to the information you're looking for!

Nothing! Not one little penny. At some point we may add a premium type membership, or profile types that will be a paid option. But as a standard user/member, your account is 100% free!

No. I will be as plain and blunt as possible on this, and only say it once. If you cause trouble, troll, hate, threaten, abuse, mock, fake, or any of a number of other things that I won't tolerate, you'll be gone. There will be NO racism, sexism, bigotry, or anyything else like it. If your account is reported, it will be investigated, and we will make a determination case by case as to whether or not to ban a profile. We have people watching the site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week watching for that kind of activity, and those people have been empowered to lock or ban offending accounts. If you want to post ads for prostitution or rip someone off, go back to Craigslist or some other site, we don't want that crap here.
